As part of an artist exchange program, the festival will host artists from France and from the US.
In June this year the annual Performance Art Workshop participants of 'Performance Art Platform' were invited to stay in a castle in Burgundy. During their stay they created and presented their work in an international art event of C.R.A.N.E (a Contemporary Art Center).
The artists who will perform in ZAZ festival 2009 were invited by the artistic director of C.R.A.N.E, the artist Jean Voguet. They will perform in Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem along with the workshop graduates and other local performance artists.
