In her performance, Berkeley searches newspaper ads and calls apartment owners, looking for an apartment for her and her cat. Complementing her live actions is a video in which she is seen running back and forth between two white walls; while she runs, hairs keep sticking to her naked body – a reverse evolutionary process creating the bestial image of a “cat-woman.”

The work addresses themes that have informed both artists’ works, particularly the experience of invading the audience’s territory. Berkeley probes bags and the objects they contain, while Stern interacts with the audience through tempting body images and a wardrobe of iron dresses she designed.
